Our company - SOLTYS

SOLTYS was created in 2005 by Alexandre Chavanne to develop the first sun lamp to LED for developing countries. Prize-winner of the competition "innovative Company and Sustainable development", SOLTYS received the support of the Region Ile-de-France and from the ADEME. Our approach consists in designing and manufacturing, simple and economic suncare products, accessible to the largest number. We developed several suncare products and our activity is turned from now on to three big sectors:

The rural electrification in developing countries: to bring the solar energy allows to improve the living conditions, to support the education and to favor the development of economic activities. Our products are designed to meet the needs the most common, while looking for the best performance and the best longevity considering the sometimes difficult conditions of use.
The sector of the tourism and the leisure activities: the use of an autonomous and environment-friendly energy answers the need for numerous touristic structures committed in ecotourism. Our range of solar products is perfectly advisable to these applications, that it is about portable solar lighting, on fixed solar lighting or on outside solar lighting: borders, projectors and solar lampposts.
Local authorities: to integrate the solar lighting for certain applications turns out more economic and more ecological than a connecting to the network. It can involve urban spaces (park, garden, side street or parking lot, bus shelter) or equipments managed by the community: leisure center, campsite, pedestrian path, etc.

Customers : Since 2005, we count more than 1000 customers among whom :

Tourism : Campings écologiques Huttopia, Village vacances Ceveo, Centre de vacances Ufoval, Centres de vacances SNCF, Jacaranda de Madagascar, Vision Ethique, Club Aventure, Eco-campements au Maroc et au Gabon.

Environnement : Conservatoire écosystème de Provence, Institut de la Forêt méditerranéenne, Maisons ossature bois, Ligue de Protection des Oiseaux, Planète Nature.
